Meet Kristie Carpenter, PhD, LMFT, EFCT-C

Welcome! My style in sessions is warm and collaborative. Clients often share they feel deeply seen and understood. Sessions are whole-person experiential encounters where the logical brain, emotional brain and the body are involved in a dynamic process of healing. I completed a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2001 and PhD in Clinical Counseling in 2021. I have 24 years of counseling experience with children, parents, couples, families, trauma, military, healers, and high-achievers —which I leverage for my clients’ benefit. I have lived a lot of life and have my own life experiences of relationships, parenthood, blended family dynamics, loss, failures, and successes to draw from. Because of my passion for counseling, providing therapy is my main endeavor. I am wired with high levels of curiosity, empathy, and hope. I am present and energized during sessions because I prioritize quality over quantity. Outside of therapy, I enjoy my family, friends, and fur babies.
